In particular, it plays host to universities and state-of-the-art research and technology facilities such as the Technologie- & Gründerzentrum Spreeknie and the HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences. Neighbouring Adlershof is home to Berlin’s biggest media hub, which welcomes over 25,000 employees and students, making it Germany’s biggest and most booming science and technology park.

Many roads lead to Marienufer. Public transport options such as buses, trams and S-Bahn trains are available alongside a mobility concept. Tram and bus line 62 serves Wendenschloßstraße and Köpenick old town and Köpenick S-Bahn station, offering direct connections to Berlin Hauptbahnhof, are just a 15-minute journey away.
