The sustainable urban neighbourhood of Marienufer is taking shape on the banks of the river Dahme, in the up-and-coming Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick. Over 2,000 people will make their home here in future. The highlight of the neighbourhood is the public access to the banks of the Dahme, which will allow residents and visitors the perfect opportunity to relax by the riverside.

Location and surroundings
Marienufer is situated on the south-east edge of Berlin in the area of Köpenick. One of the city’s most dynamic districts, Treptow-Köpenick enjoys close proximity to the city’s Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) and is a booming location for business. In particular, it plays host to universities and state-of-the-art research and technology facilities such as the Technologie- & Gründerzentrum Spreeknie and the HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences. Neighbouring Adlershof is home to Berlin’s biggest media hub, which welcomes over 25,000 employees and students, making it Germany’s biggest and most booming science and technology park.
Many roads lead to Marienufer. Public transport options such as buses, trams and S-Bahn trains are available alongside a mobility concept. Tram and bus line 62 serves Wendenschloßstraße and Köpenick old town and Köpenick S-Bahn station, offering direct connections to Berlin Hauptbahnhof, are just a 15-minute journey away. Close proximity to the B 96a and A 113 makes it easy to get in and out of the neighbourhood – for employees and clients alike.
