The tenants don’t just have a newly refurbished car park to enjoy – they also have a gallery of unique works of art at Hugo-Heimann-Straße to explore. And that’s not all: the car park is now guaranteed to catch the eye from the outside, too.

We want to promote new art

This street art project helped support 20 Berlin-based artists whose livelihood was particularly badly hit by the pandemic.

Well-known street artists from the Berlin scene, including Anne Bengard, Alexander Isakov, Akte One, Kera, Stereoheat and Tobo, were invited to decorate the car park walls to their hearts’ content. The result is a collection of artworks with wildly varying styles. They all help turn the car park on Hugo-Heimann-Straße into a bright and beautiful spot where every wall tells a different story. The project was curated by art collective Die Dixons – who have worked with Deutsche Wohnen since back in 2018.
